tired of the status and pm's
OK, I dont know how many of you get this, but I get very tired of someone messaging me while im playing the game, only to message them back and find that they are set to "offline" or "do not disturb". then they procede to think that youre ignoring them or they start flaming you and cussing you for not answering them.
THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED
Simple solution. when you go to send a pm in offline or do not disturb, i think that there should be a message in green text like it currently is when you pm someone who is set to away. Something like "the user youre sending this too might not be able to respond as you are currently set to be viewed as offline"
what do you all think? (tried search button, didnt find anything before you start flaming)

Or, when you PM someone, it automatically takes you out of the "busy" mode that you are set on (so that the one you just PM'ed can actually respond!)

It should display a message in Orange text, similar to what happens when you type in Team chat without any party members.
Again, this highlights the need for a "Friends" channel, so that you can be offline to everyone except people on your Friends list!

Good to know that I am not the only one this happens to (especially when selling items -_-) but then again, it is a shame that other people have to deal with it as well.

If you send a message in do not disturb or offline, it should immediately bring you out of it.

This has happened to me, as well, and it should be fixed.
*receive a whisper*
*send reply*
"User is offline"
*receive frustrated whispers why I'm ignoring them*
*receive "ok whatever...later" whisper*

Taking people out of offline/DND when they PM is the best way. I wouldn't expect Anet to get onto this issue anytime soon though. They still have this small problem known as Balancing and Henchman AI to sort out. Both of which they're dedicated to screwing up as much as possible. Oh that and fixing our damn armour!
